Here is a way!
Some home items require a more delicate and sophisticated approach to their sanitising and disinfection. Whether they are too tiny, fragile, or valuable for you, these things deserve your full concentration and a decent cleaning procedure. Cannot clean your precious glass vase? Well, there is no problem, because we have come up with a solution for you. Here are the easiest and the greenest budget-friendly sanitising procedures for your precious glass vases at home.
Make paste
from salt and white vinegar. Apply it on the bottom of the vase and then, gently, spread it all over the vase – from the inside and from the outside. Let the paste stay for 15-20 minutes and then find a bottle brush to wash away the liquid and the grime. If you don’t have a bottle brush at hand, replace it with an ordinary kitchen sponge.
Alka Seltzer
is amazing not only for your bad hangover but for preparing a universal cleansing remedy, too! To clean the vase with Alka Seltzer, fill it with hot water and then insert two tablets. Let it stay for a few minutes and the grime will disappear in a flash of a second! No sweating, no buying expensive products and no damage to the vase are involved!
The last way
cleaning a glass vase requires ammonia and white vinegar – a better-distilled one. First of all, fill the vase with lukewarm water. Then, apply two tablespoons of baking soda. Pour some white vinegar – 10 ml is completely enough. The liquid will start fizzing and removing the dirtiness and the greasy spots without making you even move or scrub. Wait for the remedy to act for a few minutes and then rinse with cold water!
